Malcolm Wilson is a former rally driver active between 1974 and 1995. He finished his racing career driving the famous Ford Escort Corsworth Gr.A. In 1993, he finished third in the Network Q RAC Rally and thus achieved his best result in the WRC at the wheel of this famous Escort "Michelin Pilot Team Ford". Alongside his career as a rally driver, Malcolm founded his own team in 1979: Malcolm Wilson Motorsport (M-Sport). In 1996, M-Sport signed a partnership with Ford to develop and enter official WRC cars. The story begins in 1997 with the Ford Escort WRC and continues today with the Ford Puma Rally1 even though Ford has "officially" withdrawn from the World Rally Championship since the end of the 2012 season.
